Resolved Question: questions about sauna’s…?
Monday, September 29th, 2008I work out regularly at the gym but as of yesterday, I started using the dry sauna.
Today I did 40 minuttes on the elliptical/cross trainer and burned 400 calories and after that I did weights, then I headed on over to the sauna and stayed in for 15 minuttes. How much calories would you say I burned in the sauna?
I was reading something else about saunas and it said that you just burn the water weight but as soon as you start drinking water again, it comes right back. Is that true? Is it pointless for me to use the sauna?
the sauna said it was 200 degrees

Now i’m determined to lose it asap..
I have just hired a elliptical trainer (cross trainer) to help me along as i hate gyms, but need to know how long i need to be on it for each day and is it enough apart from diet? if you get what i mean

Monday, September 29th, 2008I have just bought a cross trainer, I will admit I am quite unfit! I am slim, but just need to tone up rather than lose weight. At the moment, i can only do 10 minutes on the cross trainer at the same level, no hills etc! how do i increase this slowly? will it be doing my body any good, even if it’s only ten minutes?

Monday, September 29th, 2008I have started going to the gym 2 weeks ago for at least an hour and I am running at the gym on the elliptical cross-trainer for 30 minutes at least 4 days a week which equivocates to about 2.77 miles and 300 calories. I also do various ab exercises/stair-master/treadmill but at light weights to just tone and not build muscle. I have also been eating alot healthier opting for strawberries/veggies as snacks and eating salads/lean turkey meat.
My problem is I feel like it’s done nothing! My pants seem tighter if anything and I don’t see a difference at all! Am I doing something wrong, any tips? I don’t have a ton of weight to lose just want 10 pounds gone. Im 5′7 and a size 5 if that gives you any info.

Monday, September 29th, 2008Been on a weight loss plateau or 2 1/2 months now, I’m 15 , 5′11 and have 15% body fat, i want to get to 10% and loose my love handles and stomach.
All my cardio has been on the cross trainer, I never do the same program for more than two weeks, i do max 30mins cardio sometime s15 and burn about 150-300 calories a session, yet drinking water, small meals, 900 calorie deficit, diet full of nutrients and calcium and yet no weight loss, i tried zig zagging calories for a week, i always do weights 6 reps and 3 weeks later i do 12 reps per set.
I stopped taking Tonalin CLA, why aren’t I loosing weight.
Please help
