Open Question: I need to lose 50 lbs. I have been working out on the treadmill for a month.?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

I do 30 minutes, 3x a week at a speed of 3 on incline 4. What is the best workout on a treadmill, that will help me lose the optimal amount of weight-not looking for muscle and am dedicated to a regime til december.
What I really want to know, is how -on the treadmill-can i lose optimal weight? More incline, more speed? I am not looking to lose overnight. What is best?

Open Question: Am I going to see results?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Ok so I do this 8 minute ab workout a day.. EHHH its hard!!! But I suck it up and do it. I also get on the treadmill and walk/run for almost 40 min. I used to be able to run for 1 hour straight but that was years ago & babies ago. I am 5′0 even and weight way more then I should I wopping 165!! I just started this week working out. Also changed my eating habits.

On my walk/run I walk 2 laps then run 1 then walk 2 more run 1 more then I walk 2. Making it 8 laps which is a mile.

Let me know… I think it could work considering im SO out of shape and havent worked out in almost 2 years.

Open Question: Workouts for kids/girls/soccer?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

I’ve been playing soccer for 5 years, and I’m ready to try out for the modified soccer team. My new coach says I’m going to need to run a lot, and I have asthma. Please help me out; I need to condition for soccer SOON! I already run on the treadmill jump on the trampoline, and run on the track. What else can I do besides boring crunches and junk like that?

Sorry for writing an essay, but I need help!

Resolved Question: I recently joined a new gym and…..?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

I spend 20 minutes on a treadmill and 10 minutes on an elliptical machine. What other workouts/machines might you recommend for me to lose 25 pounds? How much of a workout do I require and am I spending enough time on the treadmill/elliptical machine? I am a 39 year old male and have to lose this weight as quickly as possible. I also understand that through some workouts one may suffer an enlarged heart. How do I avoid this?
Thank you kindly.
I also eat only once a day. It’s not a lot either. If I remotely try to eat breakfast or lunch it makes me terribly sick. I’ve been doing this since I was 7 years old. Any suggestions to beat this since I am now hearing that one meal a day can still make me fat?

Open Question: How does this workout and diet sound?

Afternoon: 20 minutes on treadmill (Run 2 minutes walk 2 minutes etc)

Morning tea- Elivae Yoghurt and piece of fruit

Along with 8 glasses of water, does it sound ok? How much weight will I lose? And will this make my legs slimmer?

Resolved Question: What can i do if i may have stunted my growth?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

I am pretty sure i have stunted my growth, i have been working out to much and may have caused harm to my chest and my abs.

I am thinking of starting a fat loss workout which would consist of more reps and more cardio (and i am going to do muscle building in the legs).

Anyway, is it alright to do a 3-day thing, where i would do basically be

Day 1

wall sits, squats, 20 minutes high resistance to build muscle

Day 2

30 minutes on treadmill , swim 45 minutes

Day 3

Whole body - pushups, planks, close pushups, wall sits, bicep curls, lat pulldowns

25 minutes bike

i have hockey on every other day pretty much. Is this alright to do this workout?

Is there anything i can do to boost my growth, like a supplement (that’s safe) or an exercise?

Basically 2 questions:

1) Is it safe to do a fat loss/definition workout?

2) Is there anything i can do to boost my growth ( i.e. supplement, exercise) ?

I am 13 by the way 5′2 , and my dad is 6′7 my mom is 5′8, my 14 yo bro is 6′0

Not looking for any preaching about how i shouldnt worry about it and how it is normal.

Open Question: i need a strict diet and workout plan, and something to motivate me to do it HELP PEOPLE!!?

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

hey well this is my dads account btw so dont think ehs being gay haha anyway

so i am really lazy, although i do enjoy going to the gym. since im 17 and i dont really work when i go to school i dont have money for the gym and i absolutely HATE jogging outside (with exception for treadmills). also i have a very bad diet, and weirdly im still skinny but i guess it wont be too long till i get fat. i eat around 4-5 mc Donalds a week… so if anyone could list a workout and strict diet plan then i would be a fixed person.
