I started back at the gym after a 2 mth break and have been going for 2 days, I am fairly fit and manage to do around 8km on the treadmill, 10 min rowing machine, weights and ab exercises. Today I feel sore and legs heavy, should I go today and what could I do at the gym, I want to go but my legs are heavy, targeted areas is stomach.

Open Question: is treadmill workout ok for 3 yr old?

I have been making my 3 yr old daughter walk 20 minutes on our treadmill 5x/wk at 2.5mph. She hates it, but I told her she needs to stay thin and she will thank me when she gets older. She gets to watch one episode of powerpuff girls when she finishes. My question is, can I increase her mph until she has a brisk jog going or is 3 still too young for jogging?
no, I am a good mother for having the foresight to want her to be thin
I know how the real world works. Thin people get better treatment and I want my daughter to be treated well. Maybe I should be calling child services on a lot of you bc you probably let your kids eat cake and cookies for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Your the ones with kids that will hate you, not me.

When your doing cardio workouts like like treadmills or ellitipcals, is it true that in order to flatten up your stomach, you must push or pull your stomach inside to get it flatter??

I hate the idea of going to a gym everyday, running on a treadmill, lifting weights but, I want to gain more strength and muscle tone. I don’t need to lose any weight, I just want a simple routine that I can do often that doesn’t involve lifting weights so that I can be strong and also improve my posture.
I’ve tried all the aerobic type tapes and other instructional videos and I just can’t stick to it. I guess what I’m looking for is a more “natural” way to get fit….Any ideas?

i have been going to the gym 4 times a week for a month now, i do 15 mins on the cross trainer and 20 mins on the treadmill(walkinh uphill) and then i do some sit ups and some arm weights, o and then a sauna. I havent lost a pound, i’m 11 stone and 5 ft3, so i need to lose weight. can anyone make any suggestions as to what i’m doing wrong and what workout i should do to lose my belly!!

Hey everyone, I need some help setting up a workout to lose weight and gain muscle ( and if you would like you can throw in some meals i should have on certain days also which i would really appreciate)
What i have are
-Dumbells
-workout bench
-treadmill
that’s all i have to work with :P but i would just like someone to give a list of workouts i should do and what to eat
I’m looking for a hardcore answer just like you were my fitness instructor :P Thanks for anyone and all who helps :D PS: you don’t need to list the weights, i’ll test out how much i can handle at each exercise

I moved in to a apartment definitely an upgrade it has an awesome workout room. Well I put on some wait over last winter and for the past three days have been working out 30 minutes on the treadmill and plan to do so each day I already feel a difference but how effective is it.
